Services include scheduled deliveries, time-sensitive shipments, backup or overflow support, and pickup and transport of medical and general goods. All services are subject to vehicle availability, applicable laws and regulations, and operational constraints.

2. Booking and Quotations

• All shipments must be booked through our website, email, or phone.

• Quotes are based on shipment details provided by the client and may be revised due to changes in weight, size, distance, or special handling requirements.

• Bookings are not confirmed until acknowledged by Legacy Route Transport. Confirmation constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

• Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipment information. Misrepresentation of goods may result in service refusal or liability for damages.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Accurate documentation of shipment details, including type of goods, dimensions, weight, and handling instructions

• Proper packaging and labeling of medical, hazardous, or sensitive materials according to all applicable regulations

• Providing safe access for pickup and delivery at the agreed times

• Ensuring any medical or healthcare-related products comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., temperature control, HIPAA confidentiality, or controlled substances compliance)

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays, additional charges, or refusal of service.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment is due as specified on the invoice or at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other agreed-upon methods.

• Late payments may incur service fees and/or suspension of future services.

• All quoted rates are based on the information provided at booking; additional fees may apply for changes in shipment specifications or special handling requirements.

5. Liability and Insurance

• Legacy Route Transport maintains commercial liability insurance, but clients are encouraged to maintain sufficient insurance for the value of shipped goods.

• Liability for loss or damage is limited to the extent covered by our insurance policies unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• We are not responsible for delays or damages caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Traffic incidents

  • Regulatory inspections

  • Acts of God or force majeure events

  • Third-party delays

• Clients must notify Legacy Route Transport in writing within [24 hours] of any damaged, missing, or incorrect deliveries. Failure to do so may limit recourse.

6. Medical Transport Requirements

• Legacy Route Transport follows strict protocols for medical and healthcare-related shipments, including temperature-sensitive and time-critical deliveries.

• Clients must provide clear handling instructions for all medical products. We are not liable for spoilage, contamination, or non-compliance if instructions are inaccurate or incomplete.

• We comply with applicable healthcare transport standards and regulations but are not responsible for client-provided non-compliant packaging or labeling.

7. Prohibited Items

The following items may not be transported:

• Illegal substances or items prohibited by law

• Hazardous materials not properly declared or packaged

• Perishable goods shipped without proper handling

• Any items restricted by regulatory authorities or incompatible with Legacy Route Transport vehicles

Legacy Route Transport reserves the right to refuse any shipment at its discretion.

8. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Termination

• Clients may cancel or reschedule shipments with advance notice.

• Legacy Route Transport may cancel or refuse service in cases of:

  • Unsafe conditions for drivers or goods

  • Client violation of these Terms

  • Regulatory non-compliance

• Repeated cancellations, misrepresentations, or unsafe practices may result in termination of service eligibility.

• Client information collected during bookings will be used solely for service fulfillment and communication.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Legacy Route Transport is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from shipment delays, loss, or handling errors.

• Clients assume responsibility for accurate information and proper packaging of shipments.

11. Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Legacy Route Transport, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of:

• Misrepresentation of shipment contents

• Violation of laws or regulations

• Improper packaging, labeling, or handling of goods

• Any action or inaction that results in damage to goods or third parties

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes arising from services provided by Legacy Route Transport will be resolved in the courts of IL.
